A 3 star hotel, with 2 star affordability and 4 star finishing.
The Cape Diamond Hotel opened its doors in November 2005. The historic art deco revamped into a comfortable 3* Boutique Hotel.
Giving the Diamond House the beautiful 1930 head quarters of jewellery giant, American Swiss a total revamp was an “easy” thing to do. Creativity, style, luxury and comfort came in
abundance with this glorious grand old day.
The original parquet blocks cover the top three floors, and the first floor hosts one of the volts used by American Swiss.
The Hotel houses 60 rooms and each room is individually decorated in a classic style with contemporary materials and furniture, thus giving it boutique style qualities.
The resident restaurant “Patat” offers delectable meals, traditional “boerekos” with a modern fusion. Some of the choices on offer are Patat brownies, biltong, gorgonzola salad with thinly sliced Patat and drizzled balsamic reduction, Patat wedges with various mouth watering sauces… Each meal has a enchanting element of Patat (sweet potato) that will surely tantalize your taste buds!! Daily Chefs choices are on offer for lunch and dinner.
For those hot, summer Cape Town days, you can relax and cool off in our top Jacuzzi with a sundowner. The roof has excellent views of Table Mountain and the City Bowl. Ts a perfect place to end off the day with a cocktail or a traditional South African BBQ.
